Ami SawranAmi graduated from Liverpool University in 2011 before undertaking a farm animal internship in production animal health and welfare at the RVC. Despite a PhD in cattle lameness, Ami’s main clinical focus is camelid medicine, and she completed her Cert AVP this year.
She works as clinical director at Westpoint Farm Vets in Chelmsford, also sitting on the VetPartners production animal clinical and executive boards. She heads the Camelid special interest group at Vetpartners and is involved with enhancing camelid veterinary services and teaching across the country.
